Outdoor Engagement Photoshoot Session in Denver, CO

Britney + Ben are engaged! Denver, Colorado camping – engagement style.

It’s a weird time for us Millennials. I feel like adulthood called us in too soon. I don’t know how it happened, but in a blink of an eye – we were out of college & become responsible adults.
(Still working on the responsible part haha)

One of my absolute best friends from college, Britney got engaged.

Ohhh college.
Drank sh*tty coffee. Pulled all nighters. Fell in love. Did keg stands. Lived off Ramen noodles.

those were the days.

Kinda crazy… It felt like just yesterday, Britney & I were softball team mates / college party athletics, bar hoppin’, or driving top down to the beach, listening to reggae or early 90s classics, or times when we all piled into someone’s crappy hand-me-down car – headed to the baseball field for Thirsty Thursdays, or hitting up our favorite Mexican food joint for to-go margs. I mean the list goes on…

After graduation when everyone scatters to all parts of the map, trying to figure out life post school, it’s awesome when you keep in touch with your friends…. even more freakin’ awesome when your friend tells you she’s engaged & wants you to photograph them!

Who says you need to dress fancy for an engagement session? To document their love for the outdoors, we packed a jeep full of camping gear and took off roadtrippin’ the Denver area in all camping gear glory. And of course their furry kids Brooks and Paisley were there for all the action. We drove up to Rocky Mountain State Park and took some of their engagement photos there, and also explored Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Living in Colorado fits perfectly for these two love for the great outdoors.
