My first time to the City That Never Sleeps was more than exciting. Even though it was a quick trip (only 2 days) we explored NY like some insane ultimate tourists. I swear if there was an award out there for fanny pack wearing tourist that could conquer an unexplored area in a short amount of time…that award would go to my mother!! I can’t even explain how much fun we had, from trying to figure out the subways, to getting lost in the rain trying to find a coffee shop that I just had to go to (called Grounded…AMAZING), and then my sister having a panic attack in Grand Central Station…and not to mention going all the way to Brooklyn my last night in town to have a grilled cheese & a beer. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, but now it just gives me an excuse to go back!
